Dynapac Discovery Days 2026: Three Days Dedicated to Innovation, Exchange and Future Technologies

Customers from more than 20 countries discover innovations for the roads of tomorrow in Wüsting and Wardenburg

Wüsting/Wardenburg, September 2026 – The first Dynapac Discovery Days were a great success. Customers and partners from more than 20 countries and numerous Dynapac Customer Centers gathered at the Eventhof venue in Wüsting, Lower Saxony, to experience the latest technologies, machinery and solutions for the road construction industry first-hand. The focus was not only on the machines themselves, but above all on how construction sites can become more sustainable, efficient and cost-effective.

The event kicked off with an evening reception and get-together, providing participants with an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and network. The event was officially opened by Nikhil Sapre, President of Dynapac; Markus Buschle, Vice President Sales; Sönke Demuth, Director Marketing; Thomas Kramer, Vice President Parts & Services; and Thorsten Bode, Vice President Light Equipment. Together, they highlighted the importance of direct dialogue with customers and partners.

Experiencing Innovation First-Hand

The following days featured a comprehensive programme of presentations, expert talks, machine demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Three key topics shaping the future of compaction and road construction took centre stage: electric drives, low-temperature asphalt and autonomous operation.

During the expert talks, participants discussed current developments and practical applications. Professor Christian Schulze from the University of Siegen provided deeper insights into the production and processing of low-temperature asphalt. Swedish colleague Andreas Persson, also known as Mr. Seismic, explained Seismic Asphalt compaction technology, while Marketing Director Sönke Demuth presented developments in autonomous paving and the networking of all machines on a construction site.

Dynapac also presented its new light equipment line-up. Exhibited machines included the DW70D walk-behind roller, the DT7 rammer and the S100 spreader.

In addition to the indoor exhibition, visitors could experience the machines under realistic conditions in the extensive outdoor demonstration area. A key feature of the Discovery Days was that every machine could be tested hands-on. Product presentations thus became practical experiences, while technical innovations turned into tangible solutions. Particular attention was given to the SD25 80C paver, which demonstrated largely autonomous paving capabilities.

Combining Sustainability and Cost-Effectiveness

Sustainability and energy efficiency were central themes throughout all three days. The event highlighted that sustainable road construction is about more than simply using electric drives. The key lies in combining different technologies and optimising the entire construction site.

One example is Nexus, Dynapac’s solution for construction site documentation and management. By coordinating the machines deployed in real time, Nexus helps improve process efficiency and workflow coordination.

Modern Leica levelling systems also played an important role. During a live demonstration, participants saw a largely autonomous paver from the latest XD generation being precisely controlled with the support of sensors from Leica Geosystems.

Dynapac’s Seismic asphalt compaction technology further demonstrated how compaction processes can be controlled more precisely, improving efficiency while reducing fuel consumption.

The central message of the Discovery Days became clear: efficiency, sustainability and cost-effectiveness go hand in hand. The decisive factor is not just the drive technology used by an individual machine, but how machines, technologies and processes work together across the entire construction site.

Dynapac sees itself as a comprehensive solutions provider for its customers, making Parts & Services increasingly important. Its offering includes spare parts, training opportunities—including online training through the World of Dynapac simulator—and a global service network.

From the Event Venue to the Factory

On the third day, participants travelled to nearby Wardenburg. During a factory tour, guests gained first-hand insights into production and saw how advanced technologies and industrial manufacturing combine to create machines that are subsequently deployed on construction sites around the world.

The Wardenburg plant has been firmly rooted in the region since the 1950s, representing a long industrial tradition and European manufacturing expertise. At the same time, the tour demonstrated how closely tradition and innovation are intertwined at Dynapac.

More Than Just Looking at Machines—Putting Them to Work

The immediate response from visitors was a clear indication of the event’s success. Participants not only viewed and tested the machines but also purchased several of them directly on-site.

For Dynapac, this underlines the value of personal interaction and practical experience. Customers were able to explore technologies first-hand, discuss questions directly with experts and test machines under realistic conditions.

The Discovery Days demonstrated what Dynapac stands for: European strength, long-lasting quality and continuous innovation. The combination of experience, technological expertise and close customer relationships provides the foundation for solutions that will make road construction more efficient and sustainable in the future.
