An articulated tandem roller featuring a unique ability for pivotal steering on the rear drum, giving up to 500 mm offset. CC232CHF is used primarily for asphalt paving of roads, streets and industrial areas but also suitable on gravel for base courses. This machine has four rubber tyres at the rear instead of a drum. The rubber wheels are driven in pairs by separate propulsion motors, thus minimising the risk of damaging newly laid asphalt compound when making sharp turns. The rubber wheels ensure a denser and smoother surface on the asphalt, a feature that is sometimes required. It's also fitted with a split drum in front, which facilitate smooth action of the roller and reduce the risk of cracks in the asphalt in sharp bends or round traffic roundabouts. The CC232CHF has got the high frequency technique for the low amplitude as standard.
