DYNAPAC’S ECO SOLUTIONS

At Dynapac we strive to work in harmony with the environment. Many of our various solutions are beneficial not only for our planet but for our customers as well. 

Dynapac is one of the first manufacturers to equip rollers with engines of the latest emission stages, lowering the emission levels significantly. In fact, our entire range of new CX, CC, CA and CS rollers are equipped with these engines today. Other Dynapac ECO solutions that save both money and fuel, as well as reducing CO2 emissions, are SEISMIC Technology, Efficiency Eccentrics, EcoMode and our newest addition called EcoSave.

ECOSAVE

EcoSave is the next step in our development of Eco-solutions. Working in harmony with our currently existing EcoMode, the EcoSave function will take sustainable compaction one step further by automatically shutting down the engine after a pre-set time limit chosen by the operator. Whenever it is time to proceed, the machine will do so without any delay.

EcoSave is a great opportunity to enable your machine with one of Dynapac’s clever Eco-solutions. It will help you to significantly reduce excessive runtime, saving both the environment and fuel. Furthermore, you can monitor the use of EcoSave in DynaLink together with other solutions like EcoMode and SEISMIC Technology, making sure that you maximize their benefits both separately and together.

WHAT IS NEW? 

EcoSave (NEW!)
• Automatic shutdown of the engine, reducing fuel consumption
• Shutdown timer is chosen by the operator
• Alert when one minute of timer remains and offers to extend the timer
• Does not interfere with the general 
workflow or operation of the machine
• Instant start-up after engine shutdown

EcoMode
• Automatic idling after 10 seconds in neutral, reducing the engine RPM significantly
• Enable/disable EcoMode setting on keypad 
• Machine operates at the lowest possible RPM without affecting compaction quality
• Does not interfere with the general workflow or operation of the machine
• Instant start-up after idle mode 

HOW DID WE REDUCE THE FUEL CONSUMPTION SO MUCH?

The answer is hard work both with major components and with small details. Here are some examples:

• Double pump vibration system 
• Reduced number of hydraulic hose fittings 
• Proportional control of cooler fan speed with regards to engine coolant and hydraulic oil temperatures
• Automatic idling of the diesel engine after 10 seconds in neutral with EcoMode
